Miscarriage Journey isn’t a quick fix approach. It’s not meant to help you “get over” or “forget about” your pregnancy loss or baby. It’s meant to be taken slowly and thoughtfully and to allow yourself all the time you need and deserve to grieve and heal.
It also isn’t intended to take the place your medical practitioners. Please seek professional care if you are experiencing thoughts of self harm, harming others or suicide. It’s not medical advice.
It’s not your complete care package. Consider this program a piece of your healing puzzle. I encourage you to also find support in other healing modalities. We heal best when we’re surrounded by a compassionate and supportive team.
-
There are approximately 180 minutes of yoga videos, 90 minutes of audio lessons, and 90 minutes of meditations = 6 hours. The amount of time to complete the Reflection Sheets and Rituals is completely individualized- but I really encourage you to do them slowly and thoughtfully, taking time to let everything come up.
-
Nope. You can definitely use a yoga mat, but you do not need buy anything outside of the program in order to go through it. Yoga on a towel, blanket, or carpet is just fine. Heck, I’ve done yoga on a bathroom rug and on a kitchen mat too!

Oxford dictionary defines holistic as: characterized by the belief that the parts of something are interconnected and can be explained only by reference to the whole.
I like that definition. As it pertains to our work together- I believe that the mind, body, emotions, energetic system, and spirit have all come together in a beautiful way that is called YOU! There is a beautiful collaborative dance always happening, creating your experience of the world. Therefore, I approach healing from the perspective that working on healing one facet naturally affects the rest of your entire being.
-
Absolutely. Grief has no time limit. If you feel in your heart that there is still healing to be had, I invite you to join.
-
You definitely don’t have to call yourself spiritual to benefit from the tools offered. I always suggest that you take what we need, and simply leave what doesn’t jive with you! That said, I also want to encourage you to stay open to different techniques and practices. Some things might be outside of your comfort zone, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t helpful. In order to change our current state of being (which is our goal here)- we have to be willing to let go of some old beliefs and entertain new ones.
-
No. Megan doesn’t subscribe to a religion. However, she integrates teachings based in many different religions into her personal self-development and into her work.
-
As little or as much effort as you’d like, taking as much time as you need. I know some days it’s hard to do anything “extra”. But completely the whole program is the end goal. Some parts of the program may feel like more effort than others- those are often the areas where the most healing is needed. Be gentle with yourself. If you need to take breaks and come back to a section, thats okay. The program is yours for as long as it exists.
-
It’s perfectly fine to have never meditated or done yoga before! You don’t need any prior experience to get the full benefit of the program. All yoga poses will be gentle and accessible for most people with modifications offered as well.
-
Only you know how your body feels following your miscarriage. Each loss is so different and everyone’s body heals differently. But in general, if you’ve recently been hospitalized, have had surgery, are on bed rest or experiencing other illness, please consider talking to your medical team to ensure that you are well enough to participate in gentle yoga.
